What is HOn30

HOn30 is a model railroad scale/gauge combination that represents narrow gauge railroading in 1:87 scale. The rail width, which in real life are 9mm apart, represent railroads with a 30" gauge.

With a little fudging, HOn30 can represent either 2ft. or 3ft. gauge railroads.

In short, it's HO scale engines tweaked to run on N gauge track.
